Role Description:

As the CISO at Versapay, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s overall information security and information technology strategies. You will oversee the company’s information security teams and program, ensuring that the organization’s information assets are protected, and the risks are minimized. You will also oversee the company’s information technology (IT) teams, ensuring that all internal technology systems and operations are organized and optimized for the company’s benefit.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage the Company's Security Team in Order to:
  • Develop and implement the company’s overall information security strategy, program, and roadmap
  • Collaborate and be the SME with the product, engineering, technology and operations teams to align the security program with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR) and ongoing security assessments
  • Review and manage security incidents, investigations, and remediation activities and come up with plans for remediation
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage company risks related to inform

  • Manage the Company's Information Technology Team in Order to:
  • Efficiently operate and scale the IT operations as the business grows. Establish operational effectiveness and performance improvements through the delivery of best-in-class IT services.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure IT systems, business systems and technology align with the company’s operations and policies.
  • Define, partner and lead a 24x7 incident management practice and resolution as required including identify and deliver areas of improvement

  • Create and manage a transformation plan to modernize strategy, processes, technology and talent based on the business’ strategic priorities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that IT infrastructure and approach is consistent with key operational and sales business functions - Salesforce, NetSuite, Zendesk, etc.
  • Efficiently operate and scale the IT operations across multiple regions
  • Ensure the business has the data and tools it needs to make decisions in a timely, accurate, and flexible manner.
  • Lead incident management and resolution as required including identify and deliver areas of improvement.
  • Design Cloud footprint for internal business operations, ( Sales, Finance, HR, Marketing and Operations departments) and assist in evaluating and selecting the appropriate tools necessary to meet the underlying business objectives.
  • Establish both operational effectiveness and performance improvements through the effective delivery of IT services, including overseeing management of business. collaboration tools and their respective maintenance, configuration, and integration.
  • Recommend and implement processes that show how IT investments are delivering on their expected/committed value proposition.
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage.


  • What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field or related industry expertise.
  • At least 15 years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience in developing and implementing information security programs, policies, and procedures for a financial institution or fintech company.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, and GDPR
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification.
  • Strong leadership, talent acquisition, team building and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of security and IT professionals.
  • Strong understanding of corporate, networking, systems, and application security
  • Successful track record of IT Leadership, execution and delivery.
  • Experience in both organizations with established IT infrastructure within rapidly growing companies where systems and processes need to be designed and implemented.
  • Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated track record for delivering stakeholder value across mid to large organizations.
  • Experience leading a global team that provides world-class IT strategy and solutions in multiple, global locations.
  • Previous experience managing IT Security for a company.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with proven ability to present strategic information to, and drive change across a broad range of technical and business internal audiences.
  • Experience working in a SaaS Cloud first organization
  • Travel 15%-20% required.
