Listing Description

Essential Duties:



  • Mergers & Acquisition Support. Oversee and lead all M&A security integration utilizing a small team; create a strategy to streamline our path to secure growth.  The focus is to evaluate and integrate target organizations and products (starting with our new SYFT acquisition) into the GHX enterprise environment.  

    • Coordinate with Technology, Legal, Compliance, Product, Operations, HR and other business leaders

    • Assist the business to identify additional business value of the enabling security and technology



  • Program Management. Lead a small team to deliver an agile framework and methodology to manage execution of cybersecurity programs, including intake, prioritization, capacity and backlog management, and reporting to support integrational of security standards into new products

    • Establish highly effective security operations teams based on agile and product principles 

    • Organize and manage objectives and key results (OKRs) for the technical teams.

    • Hire, train, guide, and coach team members

    • Assess risks and dependencies and identify mitigation strategies



  • Cybersecurity communications. Manage broad communications to the workforce including weekly Top 5, monthly newsletters, OCM related announcements, executive engagement, as well as annual events such as Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW).

    • Take the lead on executive level and Board presentation preparation and design.

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external user base 

    • Work with the larger GHX organization to find and build out security/business synergies

    • Evangelize global security policies and standards

    • Remove obstacles for the security, technology and business teams



  • Metrics and OKRs. Provide oversight of Global Information Security metrics and manage commitments via OKRs.   Manage the processes supporting all aspects of the metrics and OKR lifecycle.  

    • Establish the CISO Metrics Dashboard and create the views for the Board of Directors and all other levels of engagement to motivate action on security issues



  • Financial Forecasting and Budget Oversight. Manage the cybersecurity budget and forecasting processes, and engage regularly with Technology finance partners

  • Cyber Talent Management. Work with HR recruiting to create a pipeline of cyber talent, as well as strategies related to retention and organization design

  • Culture Development. Develop a strong team culture as well as develop culture action plans from GLINT (employee survey) results.

Required Qualifications and Skills:



  • 5+ years of program leadership with a focus on program management

  • 1-3 years of cybersecurity experience

  • 2+ years assisting with mergers and acquisitions preferred, but not required

  • PMO certifications


Preferred Qualifications and Skills:



  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Security certifications: CISSP, CISM


Estimated Salary range for this position: $120,000-$160,000


The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
