We are looking for a curious and self-motivated CyberSecurity Technical Lead with sharp critical thinking skills to support our Cyber Security Operations.   This is a hands-on role that will bring opportunity to lead efforts to build areas of the overall security program. You will have the opportunity to oversee all operational aspects of security in the cloud. This position will ensure the safety and security of Zipari’s intellectual property as well as our clients. 

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer,  this position will be remote. 

As the CyberSecurity Technical Lead, you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Monitor day-to-day security operational functions (e.g. maintenance, administration, monitoring, metrics).Manage vendor relationships for existing and future security solutions
  • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to champion security priorities and objectives for SaaS products and backend architecture
  • Drive improvements of workflows between the CyberSecurity team and other technical departments
  • Select and implement new security solutions to secure the organization
  • Partner with the Compliance team to ensure technical controls align with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements as needed
  • Participate in other security program functions as needed (e.g. security incident response, risk management, ticket management, etc.)

    • Required Skills:
  • Well-rounded experience in Information Technology and Information Security (5+ years).   A bachelor’s degree is not necessary but a solid understanding of security concepts and methodologies is a must with an ability to continue to learn and self-teach.
  • Cloud experience necessary (AWS preferred but not required)Proficient communication skills with an innate desire to build relationships
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple activities due to the fast paced nature of a startup
  • Previous experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is preferred
  • Pluses are DevSecOps or application security testing experience
