Attentive is looking for a Solutions Architect to lead a variety of high complexity Security and IT projects. The ideal candidate is someone that can align multiple groups towards unified goals and drive progress towards meeting project objectives at a high velocity.

You will have system level focus and drive end to end definition, planning and execution of projects on the Security and IT Team roadmap. You will partner with your peers on the Security and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle in this role. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will work with partners across Engineering, including Directors and VPs.

Planning:
  • Understand and document the “why” behind a given project and create clarity from confusion through that shared vision for all your stakeholders
  • Partner with Security, IT, and Engineering leadership to document and monitor project requirements and turn these into project plans with clear cross-team dependencies

    • Execution:
  • Dig in and execute work directly wherever possible as an individual contributor (predominantly in a people and process capacity) 
  • Hold direct members and partners accountable to their work per your project plans
  • Ensure smooth execution of cross-dependent project work and continuously improve execution over time
  • Ensure consistent delivery of critical projects, identifying and removing organizational barriers to execution
  • Promote quality communication and decision making across departments to effectively report progress, risks, and wins to an executive audience

    • Technical:
  • Use security experience to have an informed opinion when collaborating with peers and partners on project design, requirements, and strategy
  • Use technical judgment in working with large, cross-engineering teams to track dependencies with empathy
  • Be the point of contact for high visibility multi-functional projects by owning communication of project statuses to all partners, including senior management and executives
  • Maintain a work breakdown structure and balance project management methodologies with existing Attentive Engineering operating principles (Attentive PDLC)

    • Leadership:
  • Own a variety of high to low complexity IT and Security projects
  • Support the growth of the team by serving as the picture for what high level work execution looks like 
  • Establish confidence from peers and partner teams to push groups to maximize their output and build strong relationships through shared experience

    • About you:
  • 5+ years of technical experience as part of an Engineering organization, including as a TPM or equivalent technical contributor
  • Strong track record of driving execution for complex Security or IT outcomes in large engineering organizations
  • Experience owning sophisticated, fast-paced critical projects spanning multiple teams and organizations, often with conflicting priorities and schedules
  • Proficient with JIRA-based program management tools and standard methodologies
  • Experience building consensus across different functions and groups
  • Self-motivation and passion for leading end-to-end projects, encouraging standard methodologies and discovering ways to improve constantly
