About the role
As a Security Analyst, you will be part of a major team within a customer focused, high performing IT Operations & Security team, responsible for all aspects of IT security across the breadth of the FSNI (Foodstuffs North Island) enterprise, covering all FSNI Technology Systems and Services.
This is the perfect opportunity for anyone that is eager to learn and develop a career in IT Security. Working with a supportive and experienced team, and reporting to the Lead Security Engineer, this role will focus on:
• Working with a range of technology teams in the business to investigate and proactively research security vulnerabilities and understand how they may impact the technologies in use at FSNI.
• Performing daily security related checks, which includes analysing security vulnerabilities to maintain and enhance security initiatives.
• Maintaining documentation regarding the attack surface across the FSNI enterprise technology landscape.
• Developing skills covering the tooling and processes required to mitigate vulnerabilities across the attack surface
• Supporting the team with the ongoing security initiatives and other project work.

You may have recently taken your first steps towards a career in information security and could be studying or have recently achieved one of the entry level professional information security certificates, such as; SSCP, CompTIA Security+, ISACA CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate.
