Listing Description

The Cloud Security Engineer is primarily responsible for the security posture of cloud-hosted applications including eCommerce websites, SaaS offerings and public cloud infrastructure. The engineer will leverage a combination of technical skills and collaboration with IT partners to implement and operate a security program designed to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of cloud workloads and data.

The Cloud Security Engineer will provide security expertise in the evaluation, assessment, and development of cloud solutions.  Additionally, the Cloud Security Engineer will lead cloud security initiatives, operate security solutions, conduct security assessments, evaluate security services and technologies, and report status of cloud security programs to management. 

What you will do:
  • Define and implement a cloud security architecture, policies and standards designed to mitigate cybersecurity risk associated with public cloud infrastructure
  • Operate a cloud security posture management program and lead security remediation with stakeholders
  • Contribute to cloud Web Application Firewall tuning to continually enhance website security
  • Lead an API (Application Programming Interface) security program to ensure security of integrated applications
  • Lead the eCommerce security program including pen test coordination, continuous web application stanning and vulnerability remediation
  • Manage cloud security projects and report status to management periodically
  • Evaluate automation technologies that improve security and scale the cloud security program
  • Develop metrics to communicate cloud security posture with IT security and executive leadership
  • Shape the organization’s security policies and standards for use in cloud environments
  • Participate in the global incident response team to support timely response to security incidents

    • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing cloud security in Azure, AWS, and Office 365 environments
  • Experience developing and operating security and cloud security programs
  • Experience analyzing threats for effective identification and remediation
  • Demonstrated success with creating new initiatives and leading projects to completion
  • Cloud security and cybersecurity certifications (CISSP) preferred
