Why we're hiring:
The role of the Vulnerability Remediation Team Lead is to support the L1 & L2 Engineers with any escalations and to assist to resolve outstanding vulnerabilities as directed by the Vulnerability Management team.
What you'll be doing:
• Support the L1 & L2 engineers with any issues as a result of Remediation activities
• Plan and Remediate the more challenging vulnerabilities relating to security hardening.
• Remediate vulnerabilities using a variety of tools across a diverse infrastructure.
• Deal with any escalations resulting from team activities.
• Assist in the prioritisation of those vulnerabilities through a risk-based approach.
• Triage and prioritise vulnerabilities, implement mitigating measures, and support in the life cycle of vulnerability management, providing standardised advice on ways to improve control mechanisms and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage vulnerabilities and undertake remediation activities.
• Communicate common mitigation strategies such as patching and basic configuration change (system hardening).
• Understand how local protective security measures can be applied to reduce vulnerability exposure.

- Hands on experience of :
- Patching using enterprise tooling and manually;
- Vulnerability management, tools, techniques and methodologies;
- Change Management;
Experience:
- Experience of working in a global organisation.

- Legal and regulatory considerations
