Senior Analyst, Vulnerability Assessment
The Dell Security & Resilience organization manages the security risk across all aspects of Dell’s business. Join us as a Senior Analyst, Vulnerability Assessment on our Cybersecurity team in Ireland to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.
What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing security issues, determines cause and impact and actively engage with various internal stakeholders to conduct holistic response management on identified vulnerabilities and the remediation efforts. You will work with Cybersecurity team on Vulnerability management and remediation program.
You will:
- Analyse security issues, determines cause and impact, and identifies the corrective action needed to eliminate and prevent the event from happening in the future.
- Exhibits good understanding of vulnerability validation, re-production, and remedy advice and vulnerability research skills.
- Participate in the creation, review and maintenance of current and proposed processes and procedures and related documentation within vulnerability management and remediation team.
- Collaborate with IT and Business units to determine reporting and metrics needs and share and present reporting and metrics to Cybersecurity Management.
- Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Oversees all aspects of the remediation activities to ensure quality

Essential Requirements
- 2-4 years of related experience, specifically in Product & Application Security/ Penetration testing.
- Familiarity with Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD), Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS), MITRE Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) systems, and OWASP Top 10
- Experience with 3rd party security risk rating services like Bitsight, Scorecard.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with security tools (e.g. RSA Archer, Nexpose, Burp Suite etc.)
- Ability to lead projects, or operations, fosters teamwork and collaboration across organizations and geographies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
