We’re looking for a security analyst to join our squad and bring a unique human lens to security projects. It will be a varied role with plenty of opportunities to work across different parts of security and the business.


 


You'll be involved in a variety of work, and should expect to:



  • provide insight and support for projects across Security, helping to improve Monzo’s security controls and having a big impact on the way that the business keeps information secure.

  • working with security specialists and engineers to offer process enhancements, data driven decision making and business facing support. 

  • Work across the full lifecycle of projects including design, implementation and rollout of controls and processes

  • Solve for problem statements across all areas of Security including identity and access management, information leakage, incident response and endpoint security

  • Contribute to exploratory projects that will scope out areas we should focus on next

  • Deliver critical business as usual security processes 


 


You should apply if:



  • You have the ability to think laterally and enjoy providing solutions to problems

  • You’re comfortable context switching and working with and across multiple different teams

  • You understand security best practices and are comfortable suggesting solutions that help Monzo align to these

  • You’re happy reading and interpreting technical requirements, regulation and procedures

  • You love taking the initiative, prioritising and driving things forward

  • You’re comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders


 


The Interview Process:


After an initial conversation with one of the Hiring Team, our interview process involves 3 main stages: 



  • Initial interview with one of the team

  • Technical interview

  • Behavioural interview
