We are looking for a VP of Product Marketing to join our team in San Francisco.
Role Overview
RiskIQ is looking for a VP of Product Marketing who is seasoned in the cyber-security market. As the VP of Product Marketing, you will take responsibility for product marketing activities for all RiskIQ products. You will engage cross-functionally with the relevant teams to design and build differentiated messaging that increases awareness and demand. You are a self-starter who is capable of excelling in a fast paced, global environment by taking ownership of product marketing activities related to our Attack Surface Management offerings. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits is crucial. This is a high-profile position and as such, you will need to have a very good knowledge of the cyber-security marketplace and be conversant with the key technologies and main competitors operating in the space. RiskIQ is a fast growing, start-up and the VP of Product Marketing will be required to ensure that the messaging and positioning for the our offerings continue to drive the success of the company.

Strong ability to multitask with proven track record of execution on product launches, initiatives/programs
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently while also managing expectations of customers and Senior Management
Impeccable written communication
Bachelor’s in business or marketing
Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working
Desired Experience
8+ years of security software product marketing experience and specifically vulnerability management security experience and knowledge preferred
Previous experience overseeing or participating in technical training classes
Exposure to SaaS, specifically freemium models

Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates RiskIQ in the market
Product launch – plan, drive and lead the launch of new products and releases and participate in managing the cross-functional implementation of those plans
Develop and drive go-to-market planning and execution
Sales enablement – develop assets and content that communicates the value proposition of RiskIQ to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support and enhance the selling process
Develop and propose strategies, based on sales analysis, market knowledge and buyer persona, to promote to upsell and cross-sell of additional modules and products
Develop and drive pricing and packaging strategy for endpoint products and help facilitate the overall pricing and packaging strategy
Market intelligence – be the expert on target buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria
Competitive analysis - be the expert on your competition and how to crush them and take the lead in delivering this insight via appropriate content to the RiskIQ sales & marketing organization
Demand generation – actively participate in developing the strategy and support messaging, tools and assets that drive demand for RiskIQ
