As a Senior Security Architect, you will be located in the Dallas, Texas area where you will work with our customers providing advisory services to define enterprise-wide security architectures, assist in planning for security integration efforts, and defining technology standards and guidelines. 

Essential Functions
  • Planning and architecture design on security technologies including SIEM, Firewall, Endpoint (NG-AV, EDR), Cloud Monitoring, Third Party Risk & Compliance.
  • Lead Professional Services conversations & scoping for GRC, Offensive Security, and strategic technologies.
  • Creation of scalable and adaptable security and architectural solutions.
  • Design and provides enterprise grade architectural plans for systems, products and projects.
  • Work within the organization to create business cases that add positive value. 
  • Research and document strategic plans to help move IT process and technology forward.
  • Provide guidance in projects as the architectural steward. 
  • Create and/or assign reference architecture for engineering and development
  • Ensure solutions meet architecture guidelines. 
  • Responsible for documented deliverables.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice as needed.
  • Fulfill the role of Product owner when assigned.
  • Review Incident trends and establish problem records to prevent incidents from happening and minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented.
  • Develops and maintains policies, standards, reference architectures and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company.
  • Serves as a technical expert in multiple technologies.
  • Understand key competitive differentiators & use cases of each security technology.
  • Developing presentations and other customer facing deliverables affirming CyberOne’s position as a security thought leader.
  • Assist customers in defining / refining key requirements for security projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Required Education/Experience
  • 10 years of proven experience with local and wide-area networks, system design, virtualization technologies, storage area networking, cyber security technologies, strategic planning, budgeting, business requirements gathering and information security practices.
  • Working knowledge of industry frameworks such as: ISO 270002, NIST SP 800-53 & CSF, GDPR/CCPA, NYDFS, PCI-DSS, HIPAA Security.
  • 2+ years' work-related experience in the design or deployment of 3 of 4 core areas: SIEM, NG-FW, Endpoint (NG-AV, EDR), Cloud Monitoring & Compliance.
  • Understanding and/or certification in cybersecurity architectural frameworks including TOGAF, SABSA, or ISO 27001.
  • 5 years of leading design and architecture of technology solutions. Must possess a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft, VMware, Palo Alto, Cisco, Citrix and NetApp solutions. Thorough understanding of infrastructure services and concepts including compute, storage, network, and security across multiple knowledge domains.
  • Applied process knowledge including Project Management, ITSM, and ITIL.

  • Must have knowledge of many areas and be able to switch between them rapidly.  Must be able to work under pressure and provide guidance to Information Technology users during crisis modes. This position requires the employee to be available by phone and/or email and/or have accessibility to calendar, contacts and data while out of the office.
  • Superior presentation, written, and oral communication skills across all levels of an organization from executive leadership to individual contributors. Ability to communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences at customer locations and conferences.
  • Multi-Tasking and Time Management Skills; can adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment and prioritizing customer meetings above other activities.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
  • Travel may be required up to 25%.
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends to meet company and customer needs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
