Location:  Remote – United States

​What you’ll achieve

As a Network Security Consultant, you will help devise and recommend network strategy, roadmap and program-related items to Cybersecurity leadership and with other leaders across the organization.  You will engage with business partners and other internal stakeholders on cross-functional teams; and perform gap analysis against existing access and network security.  You will utilize an awareness of industry trends in information security governance, network security, logging and monitoring as well as the ability to interpret and understand contractual obligations and legal regulations  as well as experience with next-generation routing and switching, cloud infrastructure in enterprise global environments.

You will:

• Own and maintain 24-month capability roadmap for Network Security domain informed by strategic plans and business requirements; and deliver periodic updates to Product teams and leadership
• Collect and document nonfunctional requirements for capabilities required to effectively operate the Network Security Domain 
• Collaborate with GRC team on the implementation and maturation of security controls against industry-recognized security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53 and ISO 2700x  
• Create documentation and brief leadership on current network security risks as it pertains to enterprise sensitive data  
• Creates and presents business case proposals for investment as needed

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise experience in Network Security with working knowledge of enterprise hybrid cloud environments   
• Security and privacy industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); IAPP CIPT, CIPP/E/US, GIAC, Palo Alto  
• Strong knowledge of Network Security Control Standards and Procedures
• Ability to identify network security gaps in end-to-end business processes and recommend techniques and tools to improve security posture and performance while reducing risk  

Desired Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience/certifications  
• Experience with setting strategy and standardization for network security controls in big data and multi-cloud environments preferred
