Basic Qualifications:

United States Citizenship

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

5+ years of software development experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 12 years of relevant experience

Required Skills:

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Proficiency in Windows, Unix and/or Linux

Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycles

Willingness and ability to learn new development languages and techniques

Strong software development skills and demonstrated experience in languages such as Python, Perl, C/C++, PowerShell, etc.

Experience working with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)

Experience working with one or more databases such as Postgres, Mongo, SQL, etc.

Experience with version control systems

Demonstrated experience using REST/SOAP/XML or other API

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of configuration management software such as Salt, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.

Experience with at least one web framework

SANS Certifications, ideally GCIH, GCFE, GREM, GCFA

Understanding of IDS & IPS technologies, both signature and behavior based

Advanced knowledge of Host Forensics, Malware Reverse Engineering, or Network ForensicsResponsibilities:

Developing new functional capabilities within software applications to meet a wide range of customer requirements and operational needs

Responsible for performing development, integration, test and documentation duties to ensure proper operation of hardware and software platforms

Integrating a wide variety of applications from various sources, and ensuring they meet performance standards for stability and resource utilization

Adhere to accepted standards for development, including writing unit tests which provide a high percentage of code coverage, participating in peer code reviews, conducting design reviews, and generating test plans to ensure maximum stability and quality of code
