The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer in IT Security with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM), DevOps, Cloud Security, and IT Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's digital assets and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's digital assets and infrastructure.
- Design and implement IAM solutions to ensure secure access to resources and systems, including provisioning and de-provisioning of identities, securing and authenticating identities, and managing access controls.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of applications and services.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud security measures to protect the organization's cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software.
- Assess system vulnerabilities and propose risk mitigation strategies to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the organization's security measures are effective and relevant.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities, and develop appropriate remediation plans.
- Provide guidance and support to other IT security team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure IT environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's IT security infrastructure, processes, and tools to ensure optimal performance and protection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT security, with a focus on IAM, DevOps, Cloud Security, and IT Security.
- Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, frameworks, and technologies.
- Experience with cloud security technologies and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with DevOps security practices and tools, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with high-level programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Knowledge of network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR or PCI-DSS.
