The Global Security Team (GST) team is a foundational team in OpenGov’s Strategic Business Services Organization, with a broad charter that spans securing OpenGov’s Cloud Infrastructure, Incident Response, Compliance, and Risk. We serve as the foundation upon which all of OpenGov is secured uniformly and consistently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Leader, for Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineering, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, upgrading, and continuously improving our cloud networks and systems.

Create cloud-based programs, including implementing identity and access management and securely configuring cloud environments.
Perform threat analysis to identify and detect possible risks within the infrastructure.
Manage cryptography and encryption of data in the cloud.
Investigate and analyze existing cloud infrastructure and create new and enhanced security methods that will improve the security of our cloud environments.
Collaborate across the organization to ensure a shared understanding of upcoming changes and initiatives. Inform product roadmaps and engineering roadmaps as needed.
Identify issues, documentation, integration with other tools, gap resolution, and gap assessment.
Keep GST infrastructure current, make recommendations, and participate in implementing and continuously improving technologies and services.
Guide security strategy, process, response, and technology to Security Operations (SecOps) and other teams.
Support Incident Response.
Collaborate with SecOps analysts and R&D engineers to continuously improve our defenses.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to find, diagnose, troubleshoot and solve issues at any level of the stack or within the organization
Ability to identify potential security issues with infrastructure, RBAC, key management, databases, and network traffic patterns
Experience with Multi-Cloud environments and their APIs.
Development and administration experience on Linux and Windows
Programming skills in languages like Java/Python/Ruby/Go/C/C++
Demonstrable expertise in documenting technologies, processes, and architectures.
Desire to be part of a small driven, passionate team and willing to be agile to support our combined priorities and goals.
