As we progress on this journey, we need to further evolve how we protect our customers, employees, and shareholders for today and the future. The Cyber Security Exercise Specialist is responsible for the development, maintenance, conduct and evaluation of all cybersecurity exercise activities. 

One of the primary goals of these activities is to provide feedback into the wider security incident response team, allowing them to continuously develop their operating procedures to strengthen the overall security posture of the organisation.    

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and deliver custom exercises based on security incident trends and threat intelligence.  


• Facilitation of tabletop and live play exercises, including the development of guidance for participants. 


• The ability to secure endorsement and participation in exercises from multiple areas of the business. 


• Capturing the outputs of exercises into a defined list of actions, and ensuring these actions are accepted and implemented by the applicable business owners. 

What you'll need:

• Understanding of cyber-attack tools and techniques.  


• Ability to create realistic security incident scenarios to test current response processes and procedures. 


• Ability to tailor scenarios to ensure successful collaboration across multiple audiences.  


• Ability to document findings into reports that can be understood across all levels of the organisation. 


• Understanding of Operational Security, Security program development and Cyber Risk management. 


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 


• Strong influencing and persuading skills.
