The Job

The Security Analyst - Threat Protection (TP) focuses on security information and event management (SIEM), user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA), Anit-Virus, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), digital forensics and penetration testing. TP Analysts must understand network protocols and system behavior to analyze logs and behaviors from a systematic perspective to identify and investigate anomalies.




What You’ll Do
  • Plan, Implement and upgrade security measures and controls
  • Monitor user and system behavior
  • Maintain and monitor security access
  • Conduct internal and external security audits
  • Manage network, intrusion detection and prevention systems
  • Analyze malware and payloads
  • Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause
  • Recommend and install appropriate tools and countermeasures
  • Define, implement and maintain corporate security policies
  • Coordinate security plans with outside vendors

  • Aonducting risk and vulnerability assessments
  • Planning, implementing, and upgrading security measures and controls (IE Security Information and Event Management(SIEM), User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), AV, IDS/IPS)
  • Conducting internal and external security audits 
  • Familiarity with information security frameworks
  • Familiarity with privacy and information security regulations
  • Conducting social engineering
