Cybersecurity Architect - SIEM
Location: Remote – United States

What you’ll achieve
As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will provide architectural support and subject matter expertise for the SIEM environment at Dell. Partnering with the CSIRT and Cyber Engineering teams, you will develop complex solutions to business problems through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key decision-makers with a particular emphasis on broad architectural impact.
You will:
- Collaborate with the Critical Incident Response Team (CSIRT) to assist in the design of new SIEM-related activities and controls, understanding the existing state and planning for future growth of the rapidly evolving and complex security processes and projects related to log ingestion, monitoring, event correlation, forensics, threat intelligence, ticketing and IR
- Create architectural diagrams, project plans, roadmaps, position papers and presentations for proposals
- Own thought leadership and coordination of reviews of available tools, technologies, and processes to secure all aspects the enterprise
- Develop and lead methods and techniques for identifying and advocating effective security solutions
- Secure enterprise information by defining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; identifying integration issues; and preparing security standards, policies, and procedures

Essential Requirements
- Knowledge of SIEM + logging/monitoring technologies
- Experience creating architectural roadmaps, reference architectures, reference patterns, strategies and position papers
- Extensive experience in large enterprise server/network environments deploying and maintaining server (Linux/Windows), LAN and WAN infrastructures, and security
- Experience supporting Cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex problems to non-technical teams
Desired Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security or related major with 10+ years; or equivalent direct experience in the field of cybersecurity
- Knowledge of Splunk and/or NetWitness Administration
- Experience with automation, SOAR/AIOPS
- Knowledge of the SAFe Agile framework
