As a Software Developer at the Cybersecurity Engines team, you will develop high-performance and memory efficient engines for malicious threats identification in files, traffic and memory. WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • You will work within a growing research and development team to improve existing and build brand new Acronis products.

  • You will play an important role in development of innovative technologies such as anti-malware scanning, process behavior analysis, endpoint detection and response.

  • You will conduct a lot of research and solve a wide variety of challenging problems under direct guidance of senior colleagues.

  • You will contribute in writing unit-tests related to your code contributions, to maintain the code quality and prevent against bugs in the future.


WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)



  • Preferably a degree in computer science or equivalent engineering education or relevant work experience in IT industry.

  • Good programming skills in C++.

  • Good understanding of standard libraries, algorithms and operations complexity.

  • Experience with development tools such as git, cmake.

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the professional team environment.

  • Good reading and writing English skills.


DESIRED



  • Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for projects and tasks.

  • Ability to conduct peer code reviews, and provide feedbacks and comments to code contributions from team members.

  • Experience in popular C++ third-party library such as Boost.

  • Experience working on large scale software projects.

  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux/macOS API and OS architecture.
