The Daily Wire is hiring an IT & Security Analyst to assist in the building and maintaining of the company information security program. In this position, the IT & Security Analyst will be responsible for assessing the information security posture, identify potential improvements, and suggest actions to strengthen the company’s security posture. Qualified candidates must have four years of experience in IT or information security roles, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth work environment that requires self-motivation, and strategic problem solving skills. Responsibilities

Maintain the security posture of IT assets within the organization including servers, workstations, and networking devices

Implement and maintain a vulnerability management program for IT assets within the organization

Perform information security assessments of the organization environment including on premises, SaaS solutions, and public cloud configurations

Identify and implement security improvements across all areas of the IT environment

Act as a point of contact for external auditors or regulatory assessors

Manage and maintain the organization anti-malware solution

Engage with internal and external parties via service tickets, email, direct communication, and periodic company meetings

Assist in the support of endpoint devices including workstations and servers

Assist in the evaluation and selection of new IT and information security technologies

Perform audits such as user access reviews, patch effectiveness, cloud configuration reviews, and business resiliency effectiveness

Assist in the creation and communication of information security training materials such as newsletters, computer based training, and phishing exercises

Work with the IT team to triage and address user helpdesk requests

Perform initial triage of cyber security alerts and escalate suspicious activity to the SVP of IT

Participate in the planning and design of policy and processes to support data governance and data privacy

Manage and maintain identity solutions such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and SaaS directory services

Assist in the creation of information security metrics and success criteria

Other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements

3-5 year in information technology or information security role

Knowledge of information security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO standards

Experience working with endpoint security solutions such as anti-malware and vulnerability management software

Experience running or participating in information security and IT audits

Knowledge of networking and firewall concepts

Experience configuring and supporting end user and server operating systems

Experience managing user digital identities using tools such as active directory and SSO solutions

Reports to: SVP of IT

Start date: Immediate
