About the job


This position is needed to build and scale our global Silent Network Auth and Identity products within the Account Security business unit.  You will be part of our team based out of Bangalore, India focussing on Mobile Carrier integrations and platform development.  


Responsibilities


In this role, you’ll:



  • Work hands-on with a highly skilled team of engineers

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and release

  • Build a layered, component-based, service-oriented architecture

  • Work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders including engineering team members, product managers and program managers.

  • Be highly motivated and maintain a positive, 'can-do' attitude in a fast-moving environment

Required:



  • 5+ years experience in designing, building and operating high-scale, mission critical cloud based production systems.



  • Fluent in Java and have experience with database driven applications



  • 2+ years of Experience with distributed caching systems such as Redis or Memcached understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls

  • Versed in concepts such as DDD, SOLID, Cloud Native Patterns, distributed systems and architecture. Capable of understanding pitfalls and anticipating common failure modes of a microservice environment

  • Strong communication skills: able to communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders in english

  • Passion for new technologies and proven capability in analysis and problem-solving


 


Desired:



  • Track record as a full-stack engineer



  • Experience integrating with third-party web services across a variety of technologies, e.g. REST, SOAP, SMPP

  • Experience with some (or all) of the following technologies/frameworks/tools: Maven, Git, MySQL, JMS, Spring





Location 


This role will be based in India, out of our Bangalore office or remote (Replace with standard template)


Approximately ~5% travel is anticipated.
