Chief Information Security Officer


Your role as Chief Information Security Officer


Reporting to Alexis Smirnov, Chief Technology Officer, your role is to define, build and own a company-wide information security program. As part of the executive management team, you will have the overall ownership of developing our cybersecurity policies. 


What you’ll be doing:



  • Be accountable for maintaining and enhancing compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and controls

  • Develop and communicate the vision, set the strategy and support tactical execution of protection, detection, response, and recovery objectives

  • Advise and educate clients, prospects, regulators, the board and other stakeholders to ensure that Dialogue continues to earn trust and remains compliant with the spirit and letter of applicable regulations

  • Foster a strong culture of cybersecurity engineering, security awareness and information protection practices

  • Partner and align with Product and Engineering teams to embed cybersecurity objectives within product and engineering roadmap, and drive secure development practices

  • Manage cybersecurity risks, define metrics, and provide regular updates to executive leadership and the Board of Directors


We'd love to hear from you if you have:



  • 10+ years of experience as an Information Security/Cybersecurity practitioner in the context of complex software systems with industry certifications in Information Security, such as CISSP, CISM and CISA

  • Expertise in cybersecurity technology areas such as application security (mobile or web), cloud, identity, and network

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization while simplifying complex topics for understanding and critical decision-making by Executive Management and the Board

  • Experience with structuring a cybersecurity program and implementing one or more information security standards such as NIST CSF, ISO-27001, and SOC2

  • Experience with industry regulations such as PCI, HIPPA, or other industry security standards and policies

  • Ability to anticipate emerging threats and properly evaluate relative risks to direct investments within the cybersecurity program
