As a vulnerability engineer working within FLARE you will hunt for 0days and vulnerabilities in FireEye and client products. You will also help develop innovative tools to aid other business lines and automate malware analysis and reverse engineering efforts.
Note that this position can be supported from any of the following office locations: Reston, VA; New York, NY; Dallas, TX; Albuquerque, NM; or remotely for well-qualified candidates.
Requirements:
Strong programming skills
Ability to analyze disassembly of x86 and x64 binaries
Experience with:
IDA Pro disassembler
User and kernel-mode debuggers
Common binary file formats
Working Knowledge of:
Red teaming and penetration testing
Common paths of exploitability (e.g., overflows, use after free, etc)
Source code vulnerability analysis and tools
Binary and Web Exploitation
Windows Internals
Ability to reverse engineer binaries of various types including:
C/C++
.NET
Flash
Compiled VBScript
Java
ARM32/64 assembly
Ability to analyze shellcode/exploits and report on them
Ability to analyze packed and obfuscated code
Ability to perform malware analysis
Capable of Python scripting to automate analysis tasks
Experience developing applications in C, C++, and .NET/Powershell
Thorough understanding of network protocols
Experience implementing and mitigating anti-reverse engineering techniques
Additional Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
