About the role 


We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Director of Information Security to lead our efforts in safeguarding the organization's digital assets. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive security program that ensures our ability to identify, protect against, detect, respond to, and recover from potential threats in a dynamic and evolving risk environment. Key Responsibilities:



  • Identify Threats: Establish processes to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the organization’s systems, networks, and data assets

  • Protect Assets: Implement robust security policies, technologies, and frameworks to safeguard critical infrastructure and sensitive information

  • Detect Vulnerabilities: Build and manage systems for early detection of vulnerabilities and threats, ensuring timely remediation and minimal impact

  • Respond to Incidents: Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including investigation, mitigation, communication, and lessons learned

  • Recover Operations: Develop and maintain a comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plan to ensure swift recovery with minimal disruption

  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to relevant security standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices

  • Awareness and Training: Foster a culture of security awareness by delivering training programs and promoting best practices across the organization

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams and work closely with stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives


 


About you



  • Proven experience in information security leadership, risk management, and incident response

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements

  • Expertise in security technologies, tools, and processes, including SIEM, network, cloud (AWS), encryption, and endpoint protection

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Effective communication and leadership abilities to engage with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
