Netography is a well-funded cyber security startup looking for DevOps engineers proficient in managing, automating, and scaling cloud infrastructure deployments. A problem-solving attitude and collaborative spirit within a small team are essential.
Responsibilities
· Identify gaps, define and implement technical security controls.
· Assisting in the management of infrastructure (AWS).
· Optimizing/profiling components for maximum performance
· Participating in on-call rotation.
· Keeping systems and shared services current with patches/upgrades.
· Investigate and resolve technical issues.
· Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
· Translate loosely defined requirements into solutions.
Qualifications
· 10+ years of experience developing or running large-scale infrastructure.
· Proficiency in one or more systems programming languages (python, go, or similar).
· Thorough understanding of data warehousing (elasticsearch, Hadoop, druid, or similar).
· Understanding of publish/subscribe technologies.
· Familiarity with CI build pipelines and tools.
· Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
· Experience with implementation and scaling of containers and management of (Kubernetes, docker swarm, or similar).
· Experience with AWS architecture, scaling, and management.
· Understanding of technical controls and requirements for compliance (SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, or similar).
· Experience with configuration management (Ansible, puppet, or similar).
