The Work (Role Responsibility)

Although no two days at Accenture are the same, your duties as Cybersecurity & SOC Delivery Manager likely will include:

  • Overseeing the management and delivery of all security services provided by a global security operations team operating in a 24x7 capacity
  • This includes incident response in adherence with strict client SLA guidelines, and event management responsibilities being monitored by the global SOC team for varying capabilities sourced from various security services service including, but not limited to, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Network Security, Endpoint Protection, Compliance, monitoring and reporting operations. 
  • This role also involves planning, design, implementation, and updating or tuning of tools within the security suite of scoped managed services.
  • The Security Delivery Manager will also be responsible for client facing interactions, reporting, operational SLA reporting, project sprint planning, resource management (budgetary and allocation based), and any other general involvement requiring either security representation or security attestation of capabilities delivered to our client or internal account management/leadership teams.

 

Secondary Responsibilities Include

-  SIEM Technologies and capabilities, Network Security Methodologies; NGFWs, Endpoint Protection capabilities and platforms, Infrastructure and Application Vulnerability capabilities and methodologies. 

-  Client facing interaction around Security or SOC services.

 

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Security Manager or SOC Manager
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Security Operations
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Leadership or Manager role

 

Bonus Points If (Preferred Skills)

  • Bachelor of Science from accredited institution or at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of various security capabilities and platforms required for the delivery of standard SOC services; SIEM, TVM, AVM, AV/AM, NGFWs, FIM, DLP, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of incident management, problem management and change management best practices.

  • Salary: $180000 - $225000
