We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on protecting network boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks, and securing highly sensitive data. You will work closely with IT, engineering, and other departments to enhance our security posture and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Day in the Life
  • Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure to protect information and assets.
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of applications, networks, and systems.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor security infrastructure, identify security gaps, and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and develop incident response strategies.
  • Evaluate and recommend security products and technologies to improve the organization's security posture.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls are integrated into systems and applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

    • What We Are Seeking?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, techniques, and technologies.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • In-depth understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and secure software development.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    • Nice to have
  • Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulations.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices.
  • Familiarity with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
