This position is specifically intended as an entry-level role in a developing Security team, and a willingness and openness to learn is a fundamental requirement. Please fill out the supplemental questions to be considered.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area preferred. Remote US accepted.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Director, Information Security, in building out StreamSets’ Information Security Management System
  • Perform tests and scans in support of StreamSets’ operations
  • Assist members of the IT, Security and Compliance departments in evaluating prospective vendors
  • Assist Security and Customer Success in communicating StreamSets security practices and features to customers
  • Assist Product and Engineering in adopting Security by Design practices and building a more secure product
  • Support the growth of a culture of information security at StreamSets, through interaction with all of StreamSets departments

    • Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or experience that would provide similar skills

    • Experience
  • Experience with information technology, particularly in a SaaS environment
