Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Site Security Manager (SSM) to provide support for construction security oversight IAW Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 and DoD policies. Construction security staff, consisting of the SSM, gate guards, and construction surveillance technicians, will conduct access control and oversight of up to 150 construction contractor employees per shift in order to attain accreditation of the facility to ICD/Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705 Technical Specification standards.
Location: Peterson AFB, CO
What you will be doing: Single point of contact regarding Special Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), hereby referred to as Secure Construction Site (SCS), construction security at the project site and responsible for implementing all aspects of the Construction Security Plan (CSP). Coordinate with the Special Security Officer (SSO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) at SOCNORTH for all security concerns and questions.Help ensure the construction of the SCS is not compromised. Monitor and detect unauthorized access to internal controlled areas during the construction, as well as deter installation of clandestine surveillance devices or systems into the new facility or its surroundings. Provide the Government threat and risk mitigation strategies and monitor construction contractor security staff daily activities.Provide advice and best practice information to ensure project security from start to finish of construction and report any discrepancies or issues to the SSO.Monitor construction contractor activities for risks compliance with construction security regulations and specifications.Provide training to construction staff and visitors to the site.Inform SOCNORTH’s SSO and COR of any concerns regarding construction contractor actions, activities, processes or procedures.Complete daily performance spot checks per SSO guidance.Document any security violations or deviations from the CSP in the General Contractor Compliance/Security Deficiency ReportProvide Weekly Construction Activity/Inspection Reports, Security Incident Reports, and General Contractor Compliance/Security Deficiency Reports, as applicable.Monitor implementation of the ICD 705 and ICS 705 requirements regarding compliance or variances.Document specific phases, identified in the CSP, of construction through photographs.Participate in weekly construction Quality Control meetings set by the construction contractor in order to coordinate schedules and manning requirements for the SCS.Comply with SCS personal safety equipment requirements and safety procedures

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
