We’re looking for a Cyber Security Consultant who has good experience in one or more areas of Information Security and serves as a liaison to the business and our customers on all related matters. This role will be responsible for identifying, containing and eradicating cyber security threats.
Core Job Responsibilities:
•Experience of security tools that include SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, WAF, Vulnerability Assessment threat hunting, etc.
•Understanding of security alerts that includes malware/phishing, denial of service, unauthorized access, etc.
•Performing triage of potential security incidents and document all actions taken in a ticketing system.
•Generate reports – both internal and customer facing
•Interface with a variety of customers in a polite, positive and professional manner.
•Willingness to take part in an on-call rotation and weekend coverage
Preferred Qualifications:
•Be a team player committed to the mission and continuous development of the Cyber Threat Operations Center, peers, and our customers.
•5+ years of experience in an information security role
•3+ years of experience of experience directly related to one or more of the areas of incident response, vulnerability management, threat hunting.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
•CEH, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ or similar
•Experience working with MSP is a plus
