TEAM
The Vehicle Security team is working on the next generation of software for Toyota vehicles. Located in Woven by Toyota's Tokyo office, the team develops, builds, and secures on-vehicle components.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Woven by Toyota's Arene Cybersecurity Team is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide security engineering solution through design and implementation and security analysis. You will support the Product Cybersecurity Group department's objective to deploy security solutions for vehicle and vehicle eco-system.

You will report to the Head of Vehicle Security, and this role's workplace type is onsite - you will work in the office 5 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the engineering team. Guide the team for design and implementation – provide security solution for embedded system from design and development to deployment.
  • Provide the security design solution for asset protection by building a standardized security platform which provides defense mechanisms and counter measures along with risk analysis for different threat vectors.
  • Security Analysis – analyze the architecture & design to provide the threat vectors within each attack surface. Provide the defense mechanisms to protect the assets.
  • Work with data and identify the provable attack vectors and provide the appropriate counter measure with detailed risk analysis.
  • Coordinate with the department management team to provide regular metrics and reporting to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the services, facilitate appropriate resource allocation, and increase the maturity of security capabilities.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in software development and delivery services, security engineering or other technical risk management skills.
  • Deep technical understanding of modern development platforms such as: CD/CI,Git/Gerrit, Dockers, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
  • Deep technical understanding with programming languages such as: C, C++, Python, Ruby, .NET/PowerShell, Java/Javascript or other related languages.
  • Management skills planning, organizing, leading, and measuring service-driven teams
  • Communications skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to management
  • Experience with compliance regulations/laws, security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, ISO, COBIT, OWASP, ITIL).

  • NICE TO HAVES
  • Knowledge of the automotive, manufacturing, or software industries
  • Experience with Trustzone
  • OSCP, SANS/GIAC, CISSP or other similar professional certifications
