Lime is hiring an IT Security Manager to join our IT team! In this role, you will report into the Head of IT. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing our company's security program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. You will work closely with our technology team to identify and assess risks, implement security solutions, and establish policies and procedures that align with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a startup culture. You will be comfortable working within an evolving environment. You are an in the moment problem solver and are able to stay focused on building and scaling for the future. You thrive on building relationships and uncover the employee sentiment around current offerings. 

We are a remote first company and for many roles, we welcome applications from anywhere we operate. It is preferred that this role is based within the US.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and implement an effective IT security program for the company.
  • Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities, and develop plans to mitigate them.
  • Develop, implement and manage security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Design and manage security controls to protect against cyber attacks, viruses, and other malicious activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT security, and recommend new approaches and solutions.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments, and develop action plans to address any gaps or weaknesses.
  • Monitor security incidents and respond promptly to security breaches or incidents.
  • Develop and conduct IT security training programs for employees and contractors.

  • About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT security manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
  • Experience working in a remote team is preferred.

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $118,000.00 - $198,000.00. Equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
