Job Description: 


The A&A engineer will perform, review, and conduct technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies to the team.


Responsibilities include:



  • Creates and reviews A&A Body of Evidence documentation, providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its content.

  • Develops and executes a Security Test Plan (STP) in close coordination with team members.

  • Contributes to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and awareness activities for system and networking operations.

  • Designs, develops, implements, and/or integrates IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, virtualization, cloud, and enclave environments to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements.

  • Builds IA into systems and services deploying into operational environments at multiple classification levels

  • Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs for controls.

  • Assists architects and services developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security controls and potential security functionality to ensure uniform application of security policy and enterprise solutions.


Here's what you need: 



  • 15 years of experience in using with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for storage & retrieval of deliverables/artifacts.

  • 15 years of experience in understanding and applying principles of Risk Management Framework (RMF) to operations and tasks.

  • 15 years of experience in A&A with DCID 6/3/ICD-503.

  • 10 years of experience with NIST SP 800-53 and associated security controls implementation and verification.

  • BS Degree in related field


Bonus points if you have:



  • Risk Management 

  • Cloud Security Assessment

  • Microsoft Azure Security 

  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework 


Security Clearance:



  • An active Secret clearance is required to start












Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.    
 
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role  
California: $105,200 - $168,400 
Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500 
New York City: $121,700 - $168,400
Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
