Security Awareness Training Lead (Phishing)

As part of the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Awareness, Communications and Training (ACT) team, you will manage, maintain and review AbbVie’s existing phishing awareness program. The Phishing Lead will drive continuous improvements that empower our global workforce to take proper precautions and keep AbbVie Data and assets secure. This is a people-focused position with an opportunity to create new processes and identify opportunities for innovative solutions within an existing security awareness and training program.

This role can be a fully remote role for candidates living in the United States. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the phishing awareness program in the design, launch and assessment of simulated phishing campaigns deployed to the global AbbVie audience
• Collaborate with ISRM leadership to develop program roadmap and vision
• Increase the capability of awareness and training and improve overall communications with employees and stakeholders
• Manage the components and end-to-end process for the existing program, ensuring monthly simulation campaigns are developed, launched and stakeholder follow up is completed in accordance to set timeframes
• Deep understanding of latest risk and phishing landscape to define, prioritize, coordinate and execute relevant campaigns
• Analyze, aggregate and report phishing campaign results and trends identifying opportunities to streamline and automate reporting
• High collaboration across the enterprise with security and business stakeholders (HR, IT, legal, compliance, etc.) to increase understanding and practical implementation of security phishing best practices
• Help to define, aggregate and report monthly phishing campaign metrics for distribution across all levels including executive leadership according to committed SLAs
• Develop and drive the implementation of a Phishing Program Ambassador strategy and rollout
• Bachelors degree with 7 years of relevant experience, Masters degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or PhD with 2 years of relevant experience required
• 5 years of experience managing security awareness efforts required. Specific corporate phishing program experience a strong plus
• Experience with developing and delivering security training via various mediums (in-person, virtual, hybrid across a variety of audience segments)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
• Experience using phishing and computer-based learning software such as Cofense, Living Security, Microsoft, etc.
• Familiarity with Splunk and other reporting software, Teams dashboards, and Power BI a plus
