Our client is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) delivering excellent service to U.S. Federal Government agencies. They support several Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Agencies across the CONUS.  

OVERVIEW 
Full-time/Permanent Employee  
Location: Remote 
The proposed salary range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct research and gather data to determine available security software and techniques; determine those most appropriate to the current system. 
  • Monitor established data security processes and maintain installed cybersecurity software; implement approved process and system changes; provide notifications and instructions to IT support personnel and users on changes. 
  • Assist in conducting needs assessments for security systems; analyze and evaluate system needs; provide alternative procedures; recommend solutions. 
  • Review current security system definitions and documentation for correctness; monitor, report and investigate system security anomalies to determine unauthorized access attempts; provide continuous monitoring and testing of systems for situations requiring corrective action. 
  • Participate in vulnerability management processes, including the active identification, assessment, and remediation of security weaknesses. 

    • KEY QUALIFCATIONS
  • Clearance: Public Trust
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity or IT Operations and 2 years' experience 
  • Years of Experience: 4 years or more experience without a degree and 2 years of experience in directly related field 

  • KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA)  
  • CompTIA Security+ or greater, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity fundamentals
