The Job
This is a highly visible and unique opportunity at Panther. We are looking for a security trainer to help educate security practitioners and SecOps teams on a broad range of topics that cover detection engineering, threat hunting, investigation, and incident response. You will be expected to deliver this training in both virtual and in-person formats. To deliver this training you will work closely with sales and marketing to develop and execute a plan to build & deliver the training.

The Responsibilities
- Create thoughtful and engaging content for SecOps teams. The topics can be short form - 1 hour presentation and long form - 3/4 hours classroom style hands-on training.
- Develop a strong understanding of our persona covering topics that capture their interest & attention
- Partner with internal infrastructure teams to build a lab environment to execute the training
- Build a quarterly and yearly plan and ensure it is well coordinated with sales and marketing. Distribute training schedule internally and through web, email, and other delivery methods
- Measure and report the success of your training program with metrics such as number of attendees, student reviews, and other qualitative feedback
- Build scripts, tools, processes and presentation to support your training content
The Requirements
- 5+ years of technical experience in product and solutions marketing
- Knowledge of operating and managing a SIEM
- Knowledge of cloud architectures, particularly AWS
- Experience in programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
- Experience conducting host forensics, log analysis, alerting triaging and incident response
- Willing to travel to run virtual or in-person classroom training
- Experience building and creating technical training content
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as prior experience presenting to a group of technical audience
- Excel at creating presentations to tell a compelling and relatable story
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
