Responsibilities
We are looking for an exceptional Security Intern to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with our Business Systems and Security teams. You will also be responsible to:
Understand and remain up-to-date on Workato’s security measures, policies, and practices as well as industry trends and evolving standards.
Detect, analyse and respond to cyber threats using monitoring tools and leverage Workato for security operations automations
Administer, set up, configure, and troubleshoot internal business security applications
Author scripts, tools, and Workato-based automation to streamline security operations.
Manage the mailbox, monitor and analyse the emails for threats, including phishing and malware, and escalate per procedure.
Respond to security incidents involving internal business systems.
Maintain an understanding of the current vulnerabilities, response, and mitigation strategies used to support cyber security operations.
Contribute to the development of organisational procedures that address evolving security requirements
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
Bachelor’s degree
Prior experience in working with IT Security, Assurance, Risk or Audit functions.
Good understanding of ITIL concepts Incident/Change/Problem and ticketing tools
Familiarity with MacOS system administration.
Familiarity with data warehousing systems, especially Snowflake.
Familiarity with Security tools such as JAMF, ZScaler is a plus
Basic AWS/cloud infrastructure knowledge
Proficient in Google suite for data analysis, reporting, and presentations
Extremely strong collaboration, planning, and prioritization skills
Excellent communicator in both verbal and written forms
Exceptional time management skills
Strong ethical standards
