Job Description:
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will Detect, analyze, and mitigate cyber intrusion and malware threats. Conduct research and evaluate technical and all-source intelligence with specific emphasis on user behavior and patterns in a dynamic and changing mission environment. Analyze technical and non-technical data and metadata to determine normal patterns of events, proactively identify abnormalities, and determine root-cause of abnormalities. Correlate threat data from various sources. Prepare assessments and presentations of analyses and findings. Develop and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes. Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior officials.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
- 3+ years of Cyber experience in at least two of the following:
- Active threat hunting (open source or commercial tooling), Intrusion analysis, Managed or enterprise information security services, Incident response, Endpoint forensics (Windows, MAC, or Linux), Malware analysis, Penetration testing, Network defense, Threat hunting, Information security consulting
- 3+ years of experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Desired Skills:
- Security certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, GCFE are a big plus
- Cybersecurity monitoring and investigation experience
