About the role


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing our organization’s cloud infrastructure and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will also be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security solutions, as well as providing guidance and support to other members of the team.


 


On a typical day, you will…



  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud security solutions for our organization’s infrastructure

  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks

  • Monitor cloud infrastructure for security incidents and provide incident response support as needed

  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for the organization’s cloud infrastructure

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into the cloud infrastructure design

  • Provide guidance and support to other members of the team on cloud security best practices

  • Keep up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities

  • Participate in security audits and compliance assessments

  • Contribute to the development of security training and awareness programs for employees

  • Work with auditors to certify the platform (Soc2, PCI, HIPAA and more)


 


What you’ll need to bring



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering or a related field

  • Experience with cloud security technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001/2

  • Experience conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing

  • Experience with incident response and security incident management

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (Portuguese and English)

  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CCSP, CCSK, or CISSP, are a plus

  • Experience with Kubernetes application is a differential.
