The PhySec Remote Support Technician is responsible for providing quality services and solutions to our clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. You will provide remote technical support, troubleshooting and administration to Marco clients related to Audio/Visual, Video Surveillance and Card Access issues.
Responsibilities Provide technical support, create customer tickets, remote help desk services, and consultative recommendations to billable and non-billable Marco clients related to Audio/Visual, Video Surveillance and Card Access issuesTroubleshoot Audio/Visual, Video Surveillance and Card Access issues to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems. Escalate issues beyond established skill set Identify reoccurring issues in client’s environment and proactively provide recommendations to improve efficiency, performance and reliability of client’s Audio/Visual, Video Surveillance and Card Access equipment Accurately maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures in a timely basis to include pick tickets, collecting client signatures and time entryInstall and maintain new and/or existing AV, Video Surveillance or Card Access equipment while working under the guidance of higher-level service personnelPerform all work in a safe manner including but not limited to loading/unloading vehicles, lifting equipment, climbing, etc. to protect yourself and your coworkers. Use good judgment and give constant attention to the work beingStay up to date with relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systemsPerform remote support to customers and technicians Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client orientated teamMaintain support desk expectations Maintain AV/PhySec ConnectWise service board Assist AV/PhySec Technicians with RMA equipment when neededSchedule service techniciansAssist with RFP Submittals in a timely manner Attend required company and department meetings Represent Marco in a professional manner at all times Perform on call rotation after Marco’s business hours
RequirementsHigh school diploma2 years of experience and knowledge of audio/visual, video surveillance, card access, and physical security Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applicationsWindows based server provisioning experienceMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds of heavy equipmentDepartment of labor industry registered (preferred: may vary by state and can be obtained during employment)Benefits:
