Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking a Manager of Cyber Incident Response. As the Manager of Cyber Incident Response, you’d play a key role in defending the enterprise from malicious actors and improving our security posture. The Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) team is the cyber front line at Zions Bancorporation. We’re seeking a Manager of Cyber Incident Response who will add to our already awesome team, help our CSOC get better, including improving our tooling and automating our work.
The Manager of Cyber Incident Response will:
- Spearhead CSOC’s growth and evolution, actively improving our cyber incident response capability
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents, especially as an escalation point for high-priority or highly complex incidents
- Drive development and continuous updating of standard operating procedures and documentation for CSOC domains, including use of automation and integrations where possible
- Manage the recruitment, development, and performance of CSOC personnel
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators, key risk indicators, and other measurements of the effectiveness of CSOC programs
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Information Security management team to provide cross-functional support and guidance
- Develop and maintain open, productive working relationships with internal and external auditors, risk management, regulatory agencies, information technology departments, and security and technology vendors
- Prepare and present accurate and timely information in response to audits and regulatory exams
- Oversee management of Incident Response resources, budgets, documentation, processes, and tools to ensure an operating environment that is sound, sustainable, and compliant with company policies and requirements
- Train, mentor, and guide other team members (across both the CSOC and other EIS teams) on cyber incident response practices, tooling, and capabilities
Technical Experience and Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Work Experiences
- 5+ years of information security experience at the enterprise level, some experience supervising others is preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and cross-functional initiatives to success, on-time and within budget
- Knowledge of information security concepts, practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements; hands-on experience with cyber incident response is preferred but not required
- Experience in a highly regulated environment, especially financial institutions, is preferred
- Experience in the technology industry is a plus.

Location:
This position requires regular face-to-face interaction with teams, business stakeholders, and executives in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area. We will consider candidates in the area, able to relocate to the area, or working remotely but willing to travel regularly to Salt Lake City.
Pay Range:
$150,000-$170,00 (Based upon relatable skills/experience)
