Position Summary
Sony Corporation of America (SCA), is seeking a Senior Security Analyst, SOC Program Support to join the Global Information Security & Privacy organization located in the Northern Virginia area, just outside of Washington, D.C. This position will report to the Director, Security Operations Center, and be responsible for managing SOC projects, metrics, and strategic planning.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate with project technical leads, stakeholders, and the program management office to ensure project status and updates are coordinated and synchronized across all staff involved in each project
Develop and manage performance metrics on SOC effectiveness and efficiency
Identify, prioritize, and develop strategy to address gaps and challenges inhibiting SOC effectiveness and efficiency.
Analyze project resources, risks, schedules, and interdependencies across GSIRT projects
Prioritize multiple tasks and formulate responses and recommendations to customers and team members in a fast-paced environment
Manage third party vendor relationships of threat intelligence and other support vendors
Apply technical acumen and analytical capabilities to speed and enhance response
Provide assistance to other incident response teams
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology with 3 years of experience in Information Security
Experience in incident response, cybersecurity metrics, or enterprise IT project management
Knowledge/experience with cybersecurity platforms in large enterprise environments is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills
Strong work ethic and commitment to accomplish assigned tasks
