Clearance:  Must possess active clearance from Department of Homeland Security (Headquarters or U.S. Customs and Border Protection preferred). 


Have you been looking for a foot in the door of the cybersecurity field? Dev Technology Group is looking for a new Information Security Analyst that might be a fit for you. Our Security team includes Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), Security Analysts and Security Engineers that support a government customer in ensuring strong security policies are created, managed and overseen by the intelligent use of management and monitoring tools. This is a user-facing role, so bring your good communication skills and customer service attitude, along with an attention to detail and the desire to get things right. 


Responsibilities: 



  • Support Account Access Control administrative duties

  • Troubleshoot AIX account problems

  • Support Account certification processes

  • Identify new and better ways to achieve your goals

  • Learn the security domain to grow into new responsibilities


Required Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of working experience in the IT industry or project-based environments (can include internships) 

  • Experience creating queries to prepare reports/data for tasks such as account recertification, data validation and audit requirements

  • Familiarity with Account Access Control processes

  • Experience compiling data from various sources into executive-level summary presentations

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including experience with advanced formulas, charts and graphs, along with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite of applications

  • Demonstrates great analytical and problem-solving skills to detect and resolve security issues

  • Demonstrates good communication skills, including verbal and written

  • Ability to provide effective customer service, showing understanding for the user and working to resolve their problems

  • Ability to work under tight schedules to meet deadlines

  • Must enjoy detail-oriented work

  • Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded

  • Ability to work independently while consulting with a more senior team member

  • Ability to learn new skills as needed, being proactive and looking ahead to the next need


Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Familiarity with Unix, able to execute simple Unix commands to troubleshoot AIX account problems (ability to learn is required)

  • Familiarity with the usage of Business Intelligence and Analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau or similar) to facilitate management reporting

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access Database

  • Experience with audits of data files
