We’re looking for a Security Systems Technician to join our Corporate Security team to maintain and operate the global video management system that is used by the Collectors corporate security department. Through cross functional collaboration with our IT Support team, and other leaders and stakeholders, the Security Systems Technician will facilitate the Security technology initiatives at all Collectors job sites. 

This position is based in our Santa Ana, CA office headquarters. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Position:

• Serve as master administrator on the video management and access control system - 




• Including control management system, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarm analytics




• Assist with technology for global security partner




• Collaborate with the vendor to set up and maintain the system, and train internal team members on use


• Access Control/VMS/Intrusion Detection




• Assist with technical installations for small and large scale space improvements, construction projects, and shows


• Audit, check, and upkeep current systems




• Adjust Cameras


• Check Servers


• Update Systems




• Own global badge access control system




• Audit, check, and upkeep current system across global locations




• Assist with tracking and pulling footage for investigative purposes




• Support Asset Protection Team with investigations




• Assist with camera and security equipment needs




• Show equipment preparations




• Assist with inventory control of security technology equipment


• Support VMS, badge access, and equipment budgets 

Security Team Support Responsibilities: Work with all members of the Security department, on all sites, ensuring that the technology systems are in proper working order and communicating with each other properly.  Give feedback when needed and appropriate corrective actions where necessary. Train new hires and support existing on leveraging Security technology.

Experience / Skills:

• At least 3-5 years in Security, Asset Protection/Loss Prevention, IT, Technology Systems Administration


• 2 years experience with Security-specific technologies (access control, VMS, alarm systems)


• Relevant Guard Card Registration (Preferred)


• Valid Driver's license


• U.S. Citizen


• Familiar with Google suite


• High School graduate or equivalent

Hourly Range: The hourly range for this position is $22-$29. Entry level operations positions generally start at an hourly rate of $17. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
