Purpose of the role:
You understand that Information Security is critical to the success of any organization, in particular a FinTech! You know that when Information Security is well designed and implemented it supports and enables business objectives. You’ll be a strong technologist with a focus on InfoSec. You’ll join a growing team and be responsible for the security of our computer systems & networks. The focus of
this role is detection and response and administration of our security tooling.

What will you be doing:
  • You will help us maintain and grow our security tooling ecosystem with an automation first mindset, always looking for optimization opportunities to streamline our security processes.
  • You will also detect, investigate and prevent attacks to our technology systems. The role is highly collaborative, involving frequent interaction with various members of the technology teams.
  • Support and maintain our security tools, with applications like CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Aqua Security and more.
  • Develop automations for recurrent and manual tasks around auditing activities, vulnerability management and other security processes.
  • Evaluation of new & emerging technologies and security tools.
  • Support the Security Operations Center (SOC) with event triage and analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with threat actors and their tools, tactics and procedures.
  • Support the analytics and detection in Security Incident Event Management (SIEM).

    • Some of the technologies you will get to work with:
  • AWS (Kubernetes, ECS, GuardDuty, SecurityHub and more)
  • Security tools (Rapid7, CrowdStrike, Aqua Security, DefectDojo and more)
  • DataDog (SIEM)
  • Terraform, Terragrunt
  • Github Actions

    • You will need to have:
  • *NIX: good understanding
  • Infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform)
  • Scripting (Python, bash or GO)
  • Good knowledge of network security and operating systems
  • Experience with security tools (e.g. scanning tools, firewalls, SIEM etc)
  • Excellent English skills in written & spoken

    • Nice-to-haves:
  • Cloud (preferably AWS or Google GCP) understand security best practices and be confident with the ‘security related services’.
  • Good understanding of containerised applications.
  • Experience with the Mitre Att&ck framework.
  • Experience with endpoint security.
  • Experience as Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst and handling incident response.
