Celerium, an NC4 company, is looking for a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst/Community Manager to lead high priority threat campaigns and intelligence activities in our cyber threat solutions business. Location preference is for Northern Virginia/DC area or Los Angeles but will consider other locations for the right individual.Duties:

Identify, track and investigate high-priority threat campaigns

Synthesize intelligence from multiple analytic sources to create a comprehensive narrative for customers

Create and lead planned security drills and events for multiple clients and partners

Monitor incoming alerts from information systems

Perform daily recon activities and real-time data collection and analysis

Collaborate across industries and governments on new threat indicator

Competencies Required:

A strong cyber security background with experience in the following: investigation of high-priority threat campaigns, malicious actors, and associated TTPs and IOCs. Identification, tracking, and analysis of cyber threat actors.

Engaging in activities to instruct and enhance the cyber security posture of multiple organizations.

Previous experience in analysis, identification, documentation, and editing of threat intelligence including TTPs, IOCs, and courses of action.

Ability to write concise analytical products and assessments.

Recommends new intel feeds and changes to current feed intake, including examining external sources to identify potential threats.

Has previously leveraged advanced investigative skills to initiate pivoting analysis to identify impacts and has proactively processed mitigations

Has initiated defense through security technologies and proactive mitigations including zero-day patching identification

A deep understanding of intelligence analysis tradecraft, techniques, standards (e.g., JP 2-0, the Intelligence Cycle, Kill Chain, Diamond Model, Mitre ATT&CK, Analysis of Competing Hypotheses), and collection management.

Knowledge of malware types, malware analysis tools and procedures, and ability to report malware analysis output.

Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

Great social skills and collaborative personality.

Preferred: Knowledge of general global political and national security issues.

Preferred: Knowledge of IoT, supply chain risk, and Manufacturing.

Education and Experience:

BA or BS degree

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a cyber security analyst conducting technical analysis
