Overview
Azure Security Engineer will design, configure, and maintain security settings, policies, reporting, and features to prevent compromise to cloud-based assets. Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of security solutions. The Azure Security Engineer is responsible for improving the security posture of cloud-based assets, monitoring, and prevention solutions. Implementing automation to limit manual operation, monitoring, and alerting of the cloud environment. This position can be remote or for candidates in Jacksonivlle, Pittsburgh, or Chicago.

Duties
• Monitor security using Azure Security Center, SIEM, and Defender
o Understand how Azure security policies, definitions, recommendations, and secure score can be leveraged to improve Azure security
o Work with Microsoft’s various portals and administration areas to support, monitor and design Azure security
• Ensures security policy compliance
o Automates reporting and notification to responsible parties for remediation
o Develop and assign security policies to protect cloud-based workloads
• Act as a change agent for the Azure Security by helping define the automation strategy that allows for increased confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based resources
• Defines and discerns key aspects of problems that require analysis and research, and develops an integrated solution within a broad technical and business context of significant or strategic impact to the enterprise
• Modifies and prepares technical documentation for best practices and system security
• Performs other duties as required
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience
5+ years in industry; 2+ years in cloud
Additional Information
REQUIREMENTS:
• Expert level knowledge of Azure Security solutions such as Azure Security Center, Conditional Access, and Azure Defender
• Firm understanding of Azure network concepts, Azure firewall, Adaptive Application Control, and Container security
• Experience using Azure Security Center for AWS/GCP monitoring preferred
• Experience with programming and/or scripting languages, such as Python, bash, Powershell, etc.
• Experience with SIEM for reporting and monitoring security alerts and events
• Comfortable with UNIX/Linux and Windows administration preferred
• Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike
• Experience with project management
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within FNF or outside the organization (executives, regulators, clients, etc.)
• Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units
