The Cloud Identity & Security Manager oversees identity infrastructure, device management, identity access, and security protocols, leading a team to ensure efficient and secure operations. This role demands cloud expertise, strong leadership, effective communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to innovation.


Responsibilities:


Identity Infrastructure Management:



  • Oversee the management and maintenance of our identity infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based identity solutions that meet business needs.

  • Implement and maintain security measures, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.


Device Management:



  • Ensure the effective management of devices within the organization, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other endpoint systems.

  • Utilize cloud-based Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems such as JAMF, InTune, and Google Workspace to facilitate device provisioning, configuration, and security enforcement.

  • Develop and enforce device usage policies, aligning them with security standards and best practices.


Identity Management:



  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust cloud-based identity and access management processes.

  • Utilize identity governance solutions such as SailPoint IGA (IdentityNow) and cloud-based directory services to manage user identities and access rights effectively.

  • Collaborate with teams to define and implement identity lifecycle processes.


Security Management:



  • Design, implement, and oversee cloud security measures to safeguard operations against threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and practices in alignment with cloud security standards and regulations.

  • Monitor cloud logs and security incidents, conducting regular security assessments and audits.


Reporting and Remediation:



  • Regularly assess the security posture of cloud operations, technology systems, identity access processes, and device management.

  • Report security findings and vulnerabilities to upper management, providing clear and actionable insights.

  • Ensure timely remediation of security findings, meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for system and device remediations.


Technology Integration:



  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud-based identity access management solutions with other systems, applications, and tools to ensure a cohesive and streamlined technology ecosystem.


Vendor Management:



  • Manage relationships with cloud technology vendors and service providers, ensuring timely support and effective utilization of cloud solutions.


Continuous Improvement:



  • Stay current with cloud industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to identity access management, security, and device management.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, driving the enhancement of cloud-based systems and practices.


Team Leadership:



  • Lead, mentor, and guide the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Set clear expectations, delegate tasks, and provide ongoing feedback to team members to ensure the successful execution of projects and tasks.

  • Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weight


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent job experience)

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in managing cloud operations, security, identity access management, and device management.

  • Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, cloud security measures, and cloud-based identity governance solutions.

  • Strong understanding of security protocols, cloud standards, and compliance frameworks.

  • Cloud Expertise (with a focus on Azure)
