The Cyber Security Technical Investigations is looking to hire an entry level cyber security professional on a contractual basis to support the Global Intelligence and Operations Centre, specific to Data Loss Prevention. This role is part of the greater Cyber Security function, where you will address security incidents within DLP platforms, providing assistance gathering digital evidence and performing appropriate analytics by working with various business units within the enterprise. Additionally, this role may require being on-call on a rotational monthly shift to address after-hour support needs of the organization.

The team is focused on Data Loss Prevention and User Entity Behavior Analytics for our internal staff where you will be involved in the triage, analysis, and escalation of internal events deemed to be of a suspicious nature and that could put the Bank at risk. Our lens is specifically focused around sensitive information leaving the Bank in an unauthorized manner, and mitigating the associated impact and likelihood of data loss.

Required skills:

  • Ability to identify, collect, interpret and respond to evidence from a variety of security technologies and intelligence/data gathering sources
  • 1-2 years experience with enterprise Data Loss Prevention software and methodologies would be ideal
  • 1-2 years experience with enterprise SIEM software and methodologies applicable to Cyber Security Operations and global event correlation would be ideal
  • Applied knowledge of common Enterprise / Open Source Cyber Security tools
  • Ability to conduct real-time analysis and correlation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) events
  • Ability to monitor, triage, and investigate DLP incidents
  • Ability to correspond with internal employees as well as their managers, determining next steps and escalation paths based on incoming incidents
  • Ability to conduct Cyber Security Awareness training on a case by case basis
  • Responsible for providing efficient and accurate metrics and reporting
  • Prior experience with Cloud Security DLP monitoring

***The ideal candidate would also have 1 year of experience working in Cyber Security or possess the relevant practical and theatrical skills and/or certifications or internships.
