Listing Description
Have you ever worked at a place where they took a hard-line approach to IT and Security? Y’know, BOFH and “our way or the highway” and all that? Did you find yourself surrounded with frustrated (or angry) staff, over-complicated systems, and more red tape than the adhesive aisle at Michael’s right after the holidays? Yeah, well, this is not that place.
At Expel, we care about our team and obsess over having intuitive, easy-to-use and simple technology that’s also easy-to-administer and deployed with security in mind. Ultimately our job is to help our people get stuff done. At a cloud-born organization like ours, putting all of these pieces together while thinking about how they will affect people’s daily workflow isn’t always easy to do. The challenge is this: how do you provide awesome-to-use solutions that are never perceived as an obstacle? Not only do they create the least amount of friction possible, they’re actually viewed as huge enablers in helping people drive the business forward.
At most organizations, security and IT are two different things. At best, there’s a tension between these groups, or worse… finger-pointing. Here, you’re part of one team and, because we provide security services to our clients, your focus on security as an essential component of your role translates directly to their security as well.
Maybe you see yourself as someone who’s collaborative, loves to learn new things, and is always looking to deepen your knowledge. Maybe you even own a t-shirt that says “automate all the things.” And, for sure, you’re passionate about delivering an extraordinary user experience in the process. If this sounds like you, then I think you’ve come to the right place.
